EAL is a hands on experience based learning program for all ages and physical capabilities. We offer safe experiences with horses to develop awareness, learn life skills, and explore how to navigate relationships and boundaries. By building awareness of behavioral and emotional thought patterns, clients learn more positive ways to live their lives.
EAL can offer a horse - human connection , somatic experience which supports wellbeing and emotional support in an environment that will teach regulation and awareness skills.
Any age, any ability that’s who. Horses are happy to work with everyone and offer a special focus on somatic experience and behavior change and less on the counselling process or mental health diagnosis. Sessions are integrated with horses in a meaningful way based on client needs and ability. Prior horse experience is not necessary and sessions are not riding based.
Please note that EAL is not therapy based treatment
Each session focuses on the client, the practitioner, and the relationship with the horses while using an experiential approach to bring about change for the client. Sessions are co-facilitated by a practitioner and one or more horses in order to assist personal and behavioral development growth for the client.
